The Sandbox

The Sandbox is a local Charlotte NC non-profit that supports the families of children battling cancer and other life changing illness.

Over the past few months as part of my involvement with Business Sorority I’ve had the privilege of getting to know The Sandbox, their work and their efforts – it’s really incredible!

Their efforts go on 365 days a year – for children and their families navigating extremely difficult and often uncertain paths The Sandbox brings a message of hope, support and BELIEVING.

They truly walk with and lock arms with the families they serve. From Love Baskets, critical household needs, Thanksgiving and Christmas donations, their annual Evening of Believing Prom (AMAZING event for their honorees!!!) and so much more this is a group of sensitive, passionate, caring and sincere people on a mission to support the families they serve.

The Sandbox folks are absolutely inspiring and they are an incredible local charity right here in Charlotte making an impact in our own community.

Please check out (and LIKE) their Facebook PageThe Sandbox on Facebook

If you’re part of a business or organization interested in supporting a local charity, The Sandbox is one I absolutely recommend adopting!

They are so very grateful for support from the community and they believe in “the power of one” – every person, every dollar, every cent, every item makes a difference. I love that outlook!
