If It’s Not a Hell Yes, It’s a NO

Oh, this applies to so many areas of our lives 🙂 I use it all the time while working with buyer clients throughout their home buying journey. If it is not a Hell Yes, It’s a NO.

This simple reminder can be super helpful when considering options of any kind, and of course while searching for your first or next home.

If it doesn’t light you up and if you find yourself looking for reasons why it “might” work or “could” be something you love that is a huge red flag to stop rationalizing and looking for ways to make it fit when really it’s just not for you.

And that is OK!

TV and the media has popularized a highly condensed and often inaccurate portrayal of the process when it comes to buying a home. It is a process and that is going to look different for each and every buyer. And that is also completely OK!

I’m a recovering people pleaser and this simple reminder is helpful in many areas of my life when I catch myself rationalizing or potentially saying yes to something that doesn’t feel totally and completely right for me.

If it’s not a hell yes, it is always decidedly a NO.
