Brene Brown on Why we need to keep talking about Charlottesville

If you know me personally you likely know that Brene Brown’s work has had a profound impact on my own life. In fact I shared a quote from her book Rising Strong in my public talk – “when we deny our story, it defines us. When we own our story, we get to write the ending”.

Brene did a facebook live video yesterday and shared some valuable insight and thoughts related to the importance of not staying silent with regard to what recently happened in Charlottesville Virginia.

I encourage you to take the time to watch the video within which Brene shares about Privilege, Power Over, Perspective and the story we share collectively, as well as the difference between accountability and shaming/name calling. Her insights are truly powerful and relevant.
