One Question You Should Ask Before Hiring a Real Estate Agent

In my opinion this is a very overlooked question and it’s one every consumer should ask before deciding to hire a real estate broker in Charlotte.

The Question: How do you view other agents, especially agents that work at firms other than your own?

The answer to this question will tell you a lot about the agent’s perspective and whether they are operating in a scarcity or abundance mode.

My answer? Charlotte has so many wonderful, professional and authentic agents. As an individual broker, other agents are all colleagues of mine. I never know what agent will end up on the other side of a transaction and I’m grateful that in so many cases the agent representing the seller is a pleasure to work with during offer, negotiation and contract to closing.

So before you decide to hire a Charlotte real estate broker, consider asking them this question and see how they respond!
