Reclaiming Myself – A Journey of Transition

A while ago I stepped back from actively blogging so this is the first post in a while and it’s a bit of a different version than all about the Charlotte NC real estate market.

For the first time ever I am free to completely, unapologetically and uniquely be ME.

Me encompasses more than what I do serving real estate clients as they navigate the home buying process. I’m a person with a personal life that has lately been through some big shifts.

Over the past year or so I’ve been reclaiming myself and releasing SO many things that simply don’t serve my own highest and best good. Things that have served their purpose and are best let go to move on along and out of my life.

One of the things I’ve released was my marriage and 15 year relationship with my ex-husband.

Yep, I am ecstatically divorcing and am standing in (much brighter) new territory.

These past months have not in any way been ALL bright and shiny. The journey’s included much introspection and confronting of my own beliefs. Murky and muddy territory for sure.

One of the gifts of divorce I’m most inherently grateful for? The realization that I get to decide what I will and will not allow, I get to define my core values, I get to stand up for what’s best for myself.

In essence: I get to be genuinely, authentically me!

Part of my professional role very much includes supporting clients as they navigate what is typically an emotional and highly stressful journey. I’m so grateful for the sincere love, caring and support I’ve received from my trusted friends and connections this past year (including some past clients who noted I look happy – thanks loves, I am!)

If you or anyone you know needs a Charlotte area Family Law Attorney resource, email me at and I’ll happily introduce you to the only one I wholeheartedly recommend.

Thanks for reading and whatever your own journey looks like, I’m truly sending you BEST wishes and cheering you on!
