Whole Wheat Oat and Banana Bread Recipe

oat banana bread 2This quick bread is full of oats, bananas, almonds, and uses NO eggs! I tweaked the original recipe from Lite Bite’s Eggless Oat, Banana Bread but that was the inspiration for my version.

I just swapped out the oil and used applesauce, used all whole wheat flour, greek yogurt, and almond milk.

Simple to prepare and a delicious breakfast or snack!

1 Cup Oats
1 Cup Whole Wheat Flour
Chopped Almonds (couple tablespoons or more, I didn’t measure exactly)
2 Tsp Baking Powder
1/4 Tsp Baking Soda
1 Tsp Ground Cinnamon
1/2 Tsp Salt
1 Cup Almond (or regular) Milk
1 Mashed Banana
1/2 Cup Plain Greek Yogurt
1/4 Cup Applesauce
1/4 Cup Honey

Combine the Oats through Salt together and set aside. Combine Almond Milk through Honey and mix thoroughly. Add the dry ingredients to the milk mix and stir to combine.

Bake at 375 Degrees for about 30 minutes.oat banana bread

And you don’t have to use Nutella when eating this tasty bread, but I had some around so figured why not 🙂
