Favorite Friday – The Best Place to Adopt a Pet in Charlotte

roxie acc pic 2What’s the best place to adopt a pet in Charlotte NC? The CMPD Animal Care and Control shelter, of course!

With plenty of dogs, cats, puppies, kittens, even exotic pets in need of loving forever homes the Charlotte animal shelter is the perfect place to find your new family member.

The shelter’s website is updated almost hourly, and you can visit online anytime to search their Adoptable Dogs and Cats at the Shelter (and in foster homes!). The shelter itself is also open 7 days a week, Mon-Fri 11am-7pm and Sat/Sun 11am-5pm.

To learn more about the adoption process, visit their CMPD Animal Care and Control Adoption Page

Pets adopted from CMPD Animal Care and Control go to their new homes already spayed/neutered, up to date on shots and vaccines and microchipped.

But this isn’t just about my favorites, I want to hear yours too!!! What’s one of your favorite local parks, businesses, places or anything else local?

I’m always looking for new favorites and the best way to discover new ones is by sharing 🙂

*My foster, Roxie is pictured and she has an adoption scheduled with a great family who found her on the shelter’s website!
