Avocado Hummus

avocado hummusI’ve made this Avocado Hummus dip several times and not only is it easy to make, it’s a nice twist on traditional hummus.

Just a few ingredients come together in a really tasty (and healthy) dip.

Combining and blending together Chickpeas, Avocado, Lime (or lemon), salt, cayenne pepper, garlic, salt and a little Olive Oil makes Avocado Hummus!

The original recipe uses white beans and I’ve made it with those but I kind of prefer using chickpeas. And I always add garlic to hummus 🙂

When blending I usually add water if it’s too thick, instead of adding more oil.
