Brownies and Cookies….Baked Together!

brownie cookiesA friend told me about this recently and I tried it out myself – brownies and cookies baked together is one of the easiest and really yummy desserts to put together!

My husband asked me to make something for him to bring to a work party. This was PERFECT! Very minimal prep time and delicious.

What you need:
1 box of brownie mix
1 bag of cookie dough mix (not the refrigerated kind, the kind in the baking aisle)
Eggs, butter and/or oil and water

Prepare the brownie and cookie mixes separately, according to the package directions.

Pour brownie mix into baking pan.

Drop spoonfuls of the cookie dough into the brownie mix.

Bake – it does have to bake longer than the brownie directions. Just use the brownie mix temp and leave in until done, mine took at least an extra 15-20 minutes.

Enjoy 🙂
