Pet Palooza 2012 in Charlotte NC – Fundraiser for the Humane Society of Charlotte

This year’s Pet Palooza will be held May 5th 2012 at Independence Park in Charlotte NC and it’s the biggest annual fundraiser for the Humane Society of Charlotte – a GREAT local cause to support!

I’ll be running the Kennely 5k this year, to make a donation (it’s easier than running!)….check out my fundraising page at Pet Palooza 2012 to Support the Humane Society of Charlotte NC Diane McDermott’s Donation Page

In addition to the 5k, there’s also a 1k dog walk, microchipping, games, entertainment and lots of fun planned for this year’s Pet Palooza in Charlotte.

The Humane Society of Charlotte really does some outstanding work in our community, from caring for animals waiting for homes to their 2 spay/neuter clinics and community education.

The fact that there are WAY more animals than there are homes for them is a community issue and I believe it’s one that won’t get better without community support and involvement.

Please consider either participating in this year’s Pet Palooza event OR making a donation to support all the great work the Charlotte Humane Society does for animals in our community!

Thanks for your support 🙂
