South Park Mall Pet Adoption and Upcoming Charlotte NC Animal Care and Control Events March 2012


The monthly Animal Care and Control Pet Adoption Event at Charlotte’s South Park Mall is this Saturday, March 3rd from 10am-4pm in Center Court.

In addition to the South Park mall event (which is held the first Saturday of every month) there are also special “I’m Your Lucky Charm” Adoption Promotions going on throughout March, the monthly Rabies Vaccine clinic, A Bunny and Hare Event,  plus a Lucky Dog Adoption Event (showcasing some of the adoptable dogs in the shelter’s Train to Adopt Program)!

Saturday March 3, 2012 is the South Park Mall Pet Adoption Event (first Saturday of every month)
What: Dogs, Cats, Puppies and Kittens available for adoption and looking for a great forever home
When: 10am-4pm Saturday March 3rd at Center Court in South Park Mall

The FREE Rabies Vaccination Clinic is Saturday March 10, 2012
(held 2nd Saturday of every month) at the shelter
What: FREE Rabies vaccinations for Mecklenburg County residents’ pets
When: March 10th from 7am-11am at the CMPD Animal Care and Control Shelter, 8315 Byrum Dr Charlotte 28217

Bouncing Bunnies and Hares Event at the Charlotte Nature Museum Saturday March 17, 2012
What: Meet and learn about Rabbits and Hares with an adoptable rabbit showcased. 
When: Saturday March 17th from 10am-1pm at the Charlotte Nature Museum, 1658 Sterling Rd, Charlotte NC 28209

Special “Lucky Charm” Adoption Promotion Throughout March 2012
What: Special, reduced adoption pricing on VIP shelter pets (They will have a “Lucky Charm” tag on their kennel card)  
When: Throughout the month of March 2012
Shelter hours are
11am-7pm Monday-Friday, 11am-5pm Saturday and Sunday, located at 8315 Byrum Dr in Charlotte 28217

Lucky Dog Day Adoption Event Saturday March 17, 2012 at the US National Whitewater Center
What: Adoptable Dogs that have been participating in the shelter’s Train to Adopt Program will be at the Whitewater Center’s Green River Revival Event
When: Saturday March 17th from 12pm-5pm at US National Whitewater Center, 5000 Whitewater Center Parkway Charlotte 28214
