Super Simple Fudge – with Marshmallows!

My very favorite local chocolate shop The Secret Chocolatier in Charlotte NC shared their recipe for super easy fudge not long ago.  So of course I had to give it a try, and yes it really is simple to make AND delicious!

For the full recipe, check it out on their blog siteSecret Chocolatier in Charlotte’s Super Easy Fudge Recipe

Along with the usual sugar and chocolate, their fudge recipe uses marshmallows – which melt into the hot milk/sugar mixture along with the chocolate!

What you’ll need to make this fudge:
– Sauce pan
– Chocolate (can use chips or bar chocolate chopped up)
– Evaporated Milk
– Sugar
– Marshmallows
– Vanilla Extract
– Chopped walnuts, almonds, cherries, coconut…whatever flavors you would like
(I’m thinking some coffee or kahlua might be added in my next batch)!

The reason it’s so simple?  All you do is combine evaporated milk and sugar, simmer that for a few minutes.  Remove from heat and stir in the rest of the ingredients: chocolate (I used dark chocolate), marshmallows!!!, vanilla and I added a little almond extract plus some sliced almonds. Amazing!!!

Chill….then devour enjoy! Seriously, the last of the batch I made over the weekend is on the counter now and I swear it’s calling to me 🙂

  1. Alright! Glad to see someone use it and expand ideas upon it. It really is such an easy recipe. From our last batch I have one little square remaining. Since I’ve been testing toffee’s it hasn’t caught my eye but you know, it might not be here by lunch. hehe!

    Good job Diane.
