When selling your Charlotte NC home, showings are a big deal. It’s the real, live, in person evaluation of your home by the single most important audience…the home BUYER.
When it comes to showings, it’s not about you the home seller or your listing agent, it’s not even about the buyer’s agent. Home showings are all about the BUYER.
It’s their time to evaluate, take in, and explore what your home has to offer and process how all of that matches (or doesn’t match) with their own unique needs and wants in a home.
The showing is not about what you the seller have done to the house or how long you’ve lived there or how the home has met your needs.
Showings are about the buyer having a chance to see whether or not your home is one they could/would/do want to call their own.
When selling your Charlotte NC home, allow the buyer to be selfish, to have their own space and freedom to explore and evaluate your home without you there!!!!
The best way to let home buyers know what you’ve enjoyed, liked and loved about living in your home? Write them a letter and leave it in the house with the brochures so that it’s there during showings.
But DON’T intrude on the buyers showing, it really is all about them. Leave them a clean, well-lit and inviting home to tour and explore during their showing and respect that it’s THEIR time to evaluate your home.
When selling your home in Charlotte NC, showings aren’t about or for you the home seller, they’re all about the buyer!
