The under contract and sold single family real estate activity declined in September 2010 for the south Charlotte NC region – and both were below the activity levels for the same month last year.
Compared to a year ago, there was LESS under contract and sales activity for September 2010.
New listing activity also dropped in September 2010 meaning fewer listings were either refreshed or added to the supply of homes for sale.
The 98 SOLD real estate listings in south Charlotte for September 2010 had an average sales price of $418,769 – that’s the lowest monthly sales price for the region since October of 2009 and indicates the September sold activity was weighted more heavily at lower price points than in recent months.
The overall average home sales price for the past 13 months has been $460,538.
