There were 17 successfully SOLD Olde Providence real estate listings from January through August 2010.
That’s not dramatically different from both 2008 and 2009’s sales activity and still below the 2007 real estate sales pace.
The average Olde Providence real estate sales price from January through August 2010 was $244,101 – the lowest for the same timeframe in the past 4 years.
From 2007 through 2008, January-August average prices for sold Olde Providence homes were in the $260’s. That changed in 2009 when the average sold price dropped below $250k and that’s where it remained for 2010
The average January to August Olde Providence home sales price in 2010 was 8.7% lower than the most recent peak in 2008.
The current real estate market in Charlotte NC’s Olde Providence neighborhood is in buyer favored territory meaning lots of available options for home buyers to consider.
The majority of available homes for sale in Charlotte’s Olde Providence neighborhood are priced in the low $200’s, which is actually consistent with the average sales price for the first part of 2010.
