Yes, No or Maybe…

Once you’ve made an offer to buy a Charlotte NC home for sale, the next step is waiting for the sellers response.

The sellers of a Charlotte NC home for sale can respond with a “Yes” (accepting your offer as it’s written), “No” (rejecting your offer) or a “Maybe” (changing any of the terms of your offer, even just a date, and counter-offering your initial offer to buy).

Receiving a “maybe” response from a home seller leads to the negotiation process where buyer and seller try to reach terms that are agreeable and acceptable to both.  A “maybe” response to a buyer’s offer to purchase real estate in Charlotte NC puts the ball in the buyer’s court and then the buyer may choose how to respond to the seller’s counteroffer.

The “maybe” or counteroffer response to an offer to purchase real estate in Charlotte NC is fairly common since by changing even one detail of a buyer’s offer, the sellers have made a different offer back to the buyer.

After a buyer makes an offer to buy real estate in Charlotte NC, the next step is waiting for the sellers response and many times negotiations can go back and forth several times.  If an agreement is reached then the contract-to-close phase has begun and the buyer is one step closer to successfully buying a Charlotte NC home.  If not, the buyer moves on to another property.
